This beautifully designed and impeccably maintained Azimut 53 Magellano delivers all the luxury that Azimut is so well known for with the sea keeping ability of a true offshore long range expedition vessel, capable of taking you anywhere in style. Her dual mode hull design offers efficiency at both displacement and planning speeds. Running in displacement mode at a speed of 8 knots she burns on 6.5 gallons per hour, giving you a range of 1,300 NM.
Wheelhouse
Equipped with Raymarine’s open-array HD radar, Xenta joystick controls, bow thruster, Seakeeper 9, and electric mooring winches. Her starboard-side helm offers unobstructed visibility in all directions. The helm console includes a Raymarine display, VHF, oversize steering wheel and, on the right, throttles for the Twin 500-horsepower Cummins diesels and Xenta joystick.
Flybridge
The flybridge has a 7-foot-10-inch by 5-foot-7-inch lounge to port, with a wet bar. The area behind the radar mast has open space for either an 11-foot tender, or for a separate sunning area.
Cockpit
The luxurious oversized cockpit provides exceptional space with a 6-foot-6-inch by 5-foot lounge area with a teak table and a fiberglass bar that incorporates a sink, electric grill and ice maker. Behind the cockpit oversized hydraulic swim platform can accommodate a 14’ 4” tender.
Foredeck
The foredeck provides a well-thought-out gathering area, with a U-shaped lounge with the main seat spreading almost 8 feet across and the wing sides moving almost 5 feet forward until they both connect with stowage lockers. Forward a sizable amount of space is left at the forepeak to work the anchor and lines.
Salon
The spacious salon provides an unbroken line of sight from the door forward through the windshield. With 360-degree banks of windows and 6-foot-6-inch headroom, giving the salon area an incredibly spacious feeling. Cream colored upholstery and walnut cabinets and accent give the salon, give the interior a rich and contemporary feel.
Galley
A full-featured galley with a four-burner Miele stove, Miele oven and tall Vitrifrigo fridge works in sync with the forward lounge to port. The lounge accommodates eight people, a four-leaf table that doubles in size when owners and guests need more room. A single-person helm seat sits forward and to starboard, with a walnut backdrop with full controls.
Third Stateroom
The third stateroom has a separate head that is connected with two doors, one to the foyer and the other to the forepeak VIP stateroom.
VIP Stateroom
The VIP cabin has vast storage under the large berth and a hanging locker. An overhead hatch and large hull-side windows provide abundant natural light.
Master Stateroom
The large full-beam master stateroom has maximum headroom of almost 7 feet, and minimum headroom of 6 feet 7 inches. The double berth is positioned at an angle, facing the center-forward portion of the boat allowing walk-around space on both sides of the berth and adding to a general sense of spaciousness. With under berth stowage and a walk-in closet, storage is abundant. An en suite head along the port side runs the length of the cabin. Teak flooring in the shower and a designer sink add a sense of refinement. Having the head situated against the hull also gives it a private window on the water.
